The HoverAir X1 Pro Max is a compact self-flying camera drone from ZeroZero Robotics designed for content creators, travelers, vloggers, and enthusiasts who want professional-level aerial video and photos in a highly portable, lightweight package. The X1 Pro Max builds on the original X1 and X1 Pro platforms with a larger 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor and advanced imaging capabilities — including 8K video and 4K at up to 120 fps — while staying under the ~250 g weight class for easier regulatory compliance in many regions. It features a foldable design, intelligent automatic flight and tracking modes, dual-axis stabilization with EIS, and a variety of smart shooting presets that make cinematic footage and automated follow-shots simple even without extensive piloting experience.

The HoverAir X1 Pro Max is equipped with a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor paired with a wide-angle 16 mm equivalent lens and offers 8K video recording at 30 fps for ultra-high-resolution footage, as well as 4K up to 120 fps (great for slow-motion footage) and 10-bit HDR (HLG) for expanded dynamic range and color depth when shooting video. Obstacle Detection & Safety

Equipped with forward and rear collision sensors (vision-based) and intelligent altitude/adaptive flight systems (referred to as OmniTerrain), the drone can detect obstacles and adapt flight behavior to help reduce crashes and maintain stability over varied terrain, including snow, water edges, and uneven ground.

Gimbal & Stabilization

The drone uses a 2-axis mechanical gimbal paired with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) and horizon leveling ("SmoothCapture 2.0") to produce smooth, shake-reduced video even during motion or tracking sequences.

Autonomous Flight & Smart Modes
